Booking Terms

Unveiled, the Denver boudoir experience by Satin & Silk Studio.

These terms are a summary. Your signed session agreement is the full agreement, and it applies if the two ever differ.

1Price

• Fall sale price. Unveiled is $1,497, a $5,926 value. The fall sale price applies to bookings made during the fall sale, while session dates remain.
• Friends booking together. If a friend would like to book with you, email [email protected] directly and we will discuss pricing.

2Payment

• Deposit. A $297 deposit is due at booking. It reserves your date and is applied to your $1,497 total. The deposit is non-refundable, because it pays for your studio booking.
• Balance. Your $1,200 balance is invoiced once your session is booked and is due 14 days before your session. If your session is less than 14 days away, the balance is due right after you book.
• How to pay. By card, or over time through Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay where offered at checkout. A pay-later plan is an agreement between you and that provider, and its approval and terms are the provider's.
• Late payment. If the balance is not paid by its due date, you have 3 days to pay it. After 3 days your date may be released and the booking cancelled, and the deposit is kept.
• Paid in full before the session. No session takes place with a balance owing.
• Upgrades. Larger albums, boxes, prints and wall art are optional. They are paid by card, in full, when ordered. There is no payment plan on upgrades.

3Bonuses

• Pay in full: 10 extra edited images. Pay your $1,200 balance within 24 hours of booking and 10 extra hand-edited images are added to your gallery.
• The Fourth Look. Book by October 31, 2026 and a fourth outfit and set, a Halloween costume or a lingerie look, is added to your session free. This is separate from the pay-in-full bonus, so you can have both.

4Your date

• Confirmation. Your session date is confirmed within 24 hours of booking, once the studio is secured. If the studio is not available, you are offered the nearest open dates.
• Session Design call. The call takes place within a week of booking and at least two weeks before the session.
• Rescheduling. One move to another open date is free with at least 14 days' notice. Inside 14 days, you pay any studio and hair and makeup costs that cannot be recovered, up to $515.
• Cancelling. More than 14 days before the session: the deposit is kept, and any balance paid is refunded less any studio or artist costs already committed. Within 14 days: no refund.
• Late arrival. The studio and your hair and makeup artist are booked for your time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, the session is cancelled and is not refunded.
• No-show. A no-show is treated as a cancellation within 14 days.
• If Satin & Silk Studio cancels. You choose a new date or a full refund, including the deposit.

5On the day

• Age and ID. You must be 18 or older and bring a government photo ID. No session takes place without it.
• The Toast. Champagne or a mimosa is served only to clients 21 and over.
• Guests and phones. One guest is allowed. Phones are put away while shooting, for you and your guest.
• Your agreement. Your session agreement and print release are signed before any photos are taken.

6Christmas delivery of your Keepsake Book

To have your Keepsake Book in time for Christmas 2026, book by November 6, 2026 and hold your session on or before November 21, 2026. This applies to the included Keepsake Book. Larger or custom-cover albums take longer to make.

7Your images and your privacy

• The Vault. You choose which photos, if any, may be shared, and where, and whether your face is shown. Your raw files are kept offline and deleted after 3 months.
• Copyright. Satin & Silk Studio owns the copyright in the images. You receive a personal-use licence to your delivered images, including a print release.
• Retouching. Light and natural. Skin is evened out and temporary things such as blemishes and bruises are removed. Scars, stretch marks, tattoos and body shape stay unless you ask.
• Lost or damaged images. If images are lost or unusable through equipment failure or another cause outside the photographer's control, you choose a reshoot on a new date or a refund of what you have paid.

8The guarantee

9Gift bookings

A session may be booked as a gift. The person being photographed signs the session agreement, and these terms apply to her.

10Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
